9.18.2026 State of TN EMS Instructor Coordinator Course (09/18/2026)

Looking to get your I/C endorsement in Tennessee? TEMSEA will be hosting the State's EMS I/C class on September 18, 2026. This course serves as an option for the required initial education component for new EMT or Paramedic I/C. It can also serve as a renewal option for all instructor endorsements. This course also supersedes the required EMR Instructor course. Participants completing the live session will receive 8 contact hours (0.8 CEUs) of continuing education.

Course applicants should meet all of the requirements for I/C endorsement, with the exception of student teaching hours, prior to the course date. Successful completion of the pre-course and in-person session is required to receive a course completion certificate.

The non-refundable admission fee of $250.00 includes required pre-course modules, 8 hour LIVE course, course binder, and snacks/lunch.

Admission fee does not include:

Required Course Textbook (Foundations of Education: An EMS Approach 3rd Edition; ISBN: 9781284145168)
Travel and/or lodging to/from course

A confirmation email will be received upon enrollment into the I/C course. The email will contain a confirmation of the event date, time, and course location as well as an access code/link for the required pre-course materials. Attendees must complete all portions of the required pre-course work in TEMSEA's online learning center. The pre-course certificate of completion is required for entry into the LIVE course. Attendees should allow for ample time to complete the pre-course work. Failure to complete will result in forfeiture of course dues.

TEMSEA Study Abroad 2027 - London, UK (03/06/2027)

Are you interested in traveling to London, UK and learning about international healthcare delivery models? TEMSEA is facilitating a 3rd annual study abroad opportunity to London March 7 - March 13, 2027. While abroad we will be visiting a paramedic educational program at a respected academic medical center - St. George's University & Medical Center. In addition to St. George's University, tour participants will be joining a guided medical history walking tour visiting the National Art Gallery and British Science Museum. To top the experience off, tour participants will be participating in a clinical observation shift along side a London Ambulance Service crew responding to international emergencies and engrossing themselves in the delivery of healthcare abroad.

Spaces are limited to 25 with preferred registration awarded to TEMSEA members and then to Tennessee licensed providers.

This experience is a professional development experience only and will not cause to be issued any college bearing credit as to that of traditional college based study abroad program(s).

*Agenda items are subject to availability and subject to change based on change in availability at any point between now and the conclusion of the trip. Any changes in itinerary will be communicated to participants and a comparable alternative will be scheduled.

*Attendees are confirmed on a first registered AND first deposit paid basis. Registering alone does not secure your participation in this experience.
